Air New Zealand will launch a five-times weekly service to Houston later this year.
From December 15, the national carrier will operate a B777-200ER aircraft between Auckland and George Bush Intercontinental airport.
The route will operate every day apart from on Mondays and Saturdays, reports airlineroute.net.
Outbound service NZ028 will depart Auckland at 1830 and arrive in Houston at 1315, while return service NZ029 will leave Houston at 2025 and land in Auckland at 0555 two days later.
From March 8 next year, the route will operate four-times weekly (every day apart from Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays), and from March 27 it will run three-times weekly on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
Air New Zealand will operate a daily B787-9 service to Tokyo Narita from later this summer (see news, January 7).
