Plaza Premium Lounge will open a departures lounge at London Heathrow Terminal 4 next month.
The facility will be the first independent lounge in the terminal and is open to all travellers, for a fee, regardless of their airline or class of travel. It opens on June 5.
Access costs from £35 per person for two hours and includes food, soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, complimentary wifi and a shower.
There is a kitchen area with a “live cooking staton” and a buffet in the lounge itself offers Asian and European-inspired cuisine. The lounge is also the first in Terminal 4 to offer halal-prepared food, Plaza Premium claims.
Productivity pods are available for those wanting to work, there is a separate bar area, and floor-to-ceiling windows let in natural light.
Song Hoi-see, founder and CEO of Plaza Premium Lounge, said: “We are very excited by our continued expansion at London Heathrow — one of the most important travelling hubs in the world. Over 74 million passengers travelled through London Heathrow in 2014.
“Our presence here is key to our international growth strategy and in particular, our plans to expand into Europe.”
