Qatar Airways will launch a dual A350 service between Doha and Munich later this year.
The Gulf carrier will roster the first A350 to Munich on October 1, when it will fly alongside a B787 Dreamliner on the twice-daily route.
Outbound flight QR057 will depart Doha at 0820 and arrive in Munich at 1135, with return flight QR058 leaving Germany at 1635 and landing in Doha at 2305.
The B787 will be replaced by a second A350 a month later, on November 1.
That service, QR059, will depart Doha at 0215 and arrive in Munich at 0630, with return flight QR060 leaving Munich at 1025 and landing in Qatar at 1800.
The airline already operates two A350s to Germany; both fly to Frankfurt and launched in January and March (see news, January 20). Its third A350 service, to Singapore, started last week (see news, May 12).
Akbar Al Baker, Qatar Airways' CEO, said: "Qatar Airways is delighted to be the first airline in Germany to provide this unique offering of flying exclusively the A350 XWB to two key cities, reiterating the airline's steadfast commitment to the market."
