Ryanair will operate 32 routes to/from Scotland during the upcoming winter season.

The schedule will include two new services from Edinburgh to Frankfurt Hahn and Santander and a new Glasgow International route to Berlin.

From Edinburgh, Ryanair will operate 18 routes, including twice-weekly services to both Frankfurt Hahn and Santander, and increased frequencies to Alicante, Krakow, London Stansted (see news, January 21), Malaga and Tenerife.

From Glasgow International, the airline will fly eight routes, including a four-times weekly service to Berlin, and will up its London Stansted service from three to four flights per week.

From Glasgow Prestwick, Ryanair will operate six services, and will increase the number of flights to Alicante.

Ryanair CEO Michael O'Leary said: "Ryanair will continue to connect Scotland with Europe's key centres of business, with more flights and improved schedules to and from major cities including Brussels, Dublin and London, making Ryanair the ideal choice for business customers, and reaffirming Edinburgh as a gateway to Europe."
