Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces has opened its second Dubai property.
The 296-room Taj Dubai is located in the emirate's Downtown district, close to the Burj Khalifa. It already operates the Taj Palace hotel in Deira.
The new property's guestrooms include Taj Club rooms, 16 Junior Suites, 15 Luxury Suites and the Maharaja Suite, which comes with a roof terrace on the 33rd floor, and the 680 sqm Presidential Suite, which has its own fitness centre and yoga room.
The hotel will contain the brand's first members' only private club outside of India. Chambers includes private dining, conference and business facilities and is invitation only.
Other features include seven food and drink outlets, including Indian and Peruvian restaurants, as well as a spa, pool deck and health centre.

A 283-room property is scheduled to open at Mumbai International airport's Terminal 1C this month.
Taj provides free wifi to in-house guests across all of its hotels.
