V Air to fly from Taipei to Macau

30 Mar 2015 by Clement Huang

Low-cost carrier V Air will begin regular scheduled services between its base in Taipei and Macau from April 10.

The service will initially run three-times weekly, but is expected to increase to a daily operation in early June.

The initial schedule of the Taipei–Macau route will operate every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Flight ZV155 will depart Taipei Taoyuan International Airport at 2010 and arrive in Macau at 2155. The return ZV156 flight will then take off from Macau at 2255 and arrive back in Taipei at 0045 the following morning. Flights will be operated by the A320.

To commemorate the launch of the new service, V Air will offer an introductory fare that starts at TWD888 for a one-way flight (excluding taxes). Tickets go on sale at 0800 local time on April 1, with valid travel dates set between April 10 and May 13. Over 3,800 tickets will be available at the introductory rate.

As the newly launched franchise subsidiary of Taiwan’s Trans Asia Airways, V Air commenced services in December last year. The low-cost carrier currently operates flights out of Taoyuan International Airport to Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Siem Reap.
