The Langham, London has opened its new Regent Wing, featuring 44 guestrooms and suites.
The new wing, which was designed by Richmond International, completes the first phase of renovation work at the hotel, which is celebrating its 150th year.
The launch of The Langham Club Lounge and The Sterling Suite will follow later this spring.
Overlooking Langham Place, the Regent Wing has a private entrance at the top of Regent Street with direct access to the hotel’s Chuan Spa.
Its 43 Grand Executive rooms average 31 sqm in size, while the Regent Suite occupies an entire floor, with up to four bedrooms, a sitting room and kitchen.
There are also two Studio Suites and a Wedgwood Suite, “styled with artefacts and bespoke items of English heritage chinaware”.
Last week, The Langham, Hong Kong unveiled two new suites as part of an extensive US$30 million refurbishment project (see news, March 19).
