Qantas ups capacity to Dallas and Hong Kong seasonally

26 Mar 2015 by Clement Huang

Qantas will be increasing capacity on its flights to Dallas/Fort Worth and Hong Kong during the holiday season.

The Flying Kangaroo currently operates six A380 flights weekly between Sydney and Dallas/Fort Worth, but will increase this to a daily service from December 8, 2015 to January 19, 2016.

Meanwhile, Qantas also operates daily B747 services between Sydney and Hong Kong. However, from January 21 to February 16, 2016, the carrier will upgrade the services to an A380 on five days (Mon, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun).

The superjumbo (F14, J64, PY35, Y371) offers the same four-class cabin layout as the B747 (F14, J50, PY32, Y255), but the number of business, premium economy and economy class seats will be increased. Only first class will remain unchanged.

The additional capacity will allow customers to enjoy more choice and flexibility when booking flights that fit their schedules.
