Korean Air has signed a new codeshare agreement with Aerolineas Argentinas to provide its customers with links between Seoul and Buenos Aires.
The partnership will be seen on the Seoul–New York–Buenos Aires and Seoul–Sao Paulo–Buenos Aires routes, with the former due to commence on March 25, and the latter later this April.
The aim of the codeshare agreement is to provide customers with greater convenience and choice flying on both airlines to and from Argentina. Both carriers are members of Skyteam, which means that frequent flyer points can be earned and redeemed for the codeshare flights.
Korean Air now has codeshare partnerships with 29 airlines on 189 routes worldwide, including Air France, AeroMexico and China Southern Airlines. The South Korean carrier has reiterated its desire to expand opportunities for even more partnerships in order to deliver the most convenient schedules for its passengers.
