Qatar Airways to boost flight frequency to Jakarta

13 Mar 2015 by Clement Huang

Qatar Airways will expand its services to Jakarta from July 5.

The Gulf carrier currently serves the Indonesian capital 18-times weekly, but this will soon increase to 21 times. The increased frequency is now reflected on the Qatar Airways website.

The service upgrade will focus on flight QR958 and its return QR959 service. Currently, the two flights operate four-times per week but this will be expanded into a daily service.

Business class

Flights are operated with the A330-200, which the Gulf carrier configures with a two-class layout. There are 24 angle-flat seats in business (2-2-2), and 248 in economy (2-4-2).

Service times will not change with flight QR958 departing Doha at 1315 and arriving in Jakarta at 0230 the following day. The return flight QR959 will then take off from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport at 0410 before touching back down in Hamad International Airport at 0900.
