Vietjet will increase the frequency of its Ho Chi Minh City–Singapore service from May 30, to meet to growing demand for low-cost travel between the two destinations.
The carrier will add a second daily roundtrip service, which represents a capacity increase of 2,520 seats per week. The flight will be operated by an A320 that offers 180 seats in a single class layout.
The expanded schedule will see daily flights depart Tan Son Nhat International Airport at 0855 and 1400, while those departing from Singapore Changi International Airport will take off from 1350 and 1800 respectively. Flight duration is two hours and five minutes.
Vietjet operates 150 flights per day with its fleet of 21 A320s. As part of the low-cost carrier’s expansion plans, it will be welcoming more Airbus jets to its fleet this September.
