Six Senses Bali to open in 2017

25 Feb 2015 by Clement Huang

Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas will develop a new resort property in Uluwatu – located in the southwest of Bali, and a 35-minute drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport.

Set atop a rugged cliff, Six Senses Bali will deliver ocean views with the island’s famed Uluwatu Temple also in sight. With a total of 28 sky villas, 62 one-bedroom villas, and seven two-bedroom villas, the design of the resort will draw upon the local culture and embrace nature.

Development of the resort will be completed in two stages. The project’s first phase will include the resort itself, which rests of 16 acres of land, while the second phase will consist of 60 residential villas being made available for purchase.

Meanwhile, two restaurants, a pool bar and a speciality restaurant with chef’s table, cooking school and extensive organic garden are also in the works. For recreational purposes, the brand’s signature Six Senses Spa will feature speciality treatments along with an extensive menu of signature therapies.

Other on-site facilities will include a central pool and a gym. An event lawn will enhance the already impressive conference facilities that include a beautiful ballroom, two meeting rooms and a wedding pavilion.

Six Senses Bali is scheduled for completion by the end of 2017.
