Hainan Airlines held a press conference in Shanghai last week, announcing three new services to the US starting from June this year.
The Beijing-San Jose route will operate five times a week, while the Shanghai-Boston service will be flying three times a week. Both routes will be served by the carrier’s 213-seat B787, which consists of two classes, including 36 business class seats in a 2-2-2 configuration, and 177 economy seats in a 3-3-3 across arrangement.
The Shanghai-Seattle service will be flying four times a week with a 222-seat A330-200, which has 36 business arranged in a 2-2-2 setup, and 186 economy seats configured in 2-4-2.
