Qantas has added 13 retailers including Marks & Spencer, Bloomingdales and Saks Fifth Avenue to its online shopping hub.

The carrier's Online Mall, which launched last summer (see news, August 18), allows members of its Frequent Flyer programme to earn up to five points per Australian dollar spent.

In total, it has added four department stores, seven fashion retailers and two electronic outlets.

The new partners and earn rates (dollars are Australian) are: Saks Fifth Avenue, five points per $1 spent; Marks & Spencer, five points per $1 spent; Bonds, five points per $1 spent; SABA, four points per $1 spent; Sportscraft, four points per $1 spent; Bloomingdales four points per $1 spent; Samsung, three points per $1 spent; The Outnet, three points per $1 spent; Kogan, two points per $1 spent; Seed, two points per $1 spent; Appliances Online, two points per $1 spent; J Crew, three points per $1 spent; and Seafolly, three points per $1 spent.

The existing partners and earn rates (dollars are again Australian) are: David Jones, five points per $1 spent; Apple, two points per $1 spent; Ebay, two points per $1 spent; Net-A-Porter, four points per $1 spent; Macy’s, four points per $1 spent; Selfridges, three points per $1 spent; Williams-Sonoma, four points per $1 spent; Booktopia, four points per $1 spent; West-Elm, four points per $1 spent; The Iconic, four points per $1 spent; Bobbi Brown, four points per $1 spent; iTunes, three points per $1 spent; Mr Porter, four points per $1 spent; Neiman Marcus, five points per $1 spent; Pottery Barn, four points per $1 spent; and Pottery Barn Kids, four points per $1 spent.

The Online Mall is available to domestic and overseas members, providing the chosen retailer delivers to an overseas location without having to redirect the user to a different website.

Members continue to use qantas.com for flight bookings and to manage all flying aspects of their Qantas Frequent Flyer account.

Last week, Qantas launched an upgrade bidding system for members of its Qantas Frequent Flyer loyalty club (see news, February 10).
