Singapore Airlines increases Bangkok service from March

29 Jan 2015 by Clement Huang

Singapore Airlines will increase the number of flights between Singapore and Bangkok from March 5, 2015.

The carrier confirmed that it would add a sixth daily frequency on Thursdays and Fridays. The added flights will be operated by the B777-200ER, and offer a two-class configuration with 30 seats in business, and 255 in economy.

The new services are now reflected on the SIA website, and bookings are open for purchase.

Flight SQ9832 will depart Singapore at 1355 and arrive in Bangkok at 1520. Meanwhile, the return SQ983 service will take off from Suvarnabhumi Airport at 1640, and touch back down in Changi Airport at 2010.

Then from June 4, 2015, flights SQ982 and SQ983 will be operated by the A330-300, which offers the same two-class configuration as the B777-200. Capacity will remain consistent as both aircraft offer the same number of seats in both cabin classes. Service times will however differ, with flight SQ892 departing Singapore at 1430 and arriving in Bangkok at 1550. Meanwhile, the return leg with SQ893 will take off from Bangkok again at 1720, before touching down in Singapore at 2045.
