ANA to launch daily flights to Kuala Lumpur

22 Jan 2015 by Clement Huang

All Nippon Airways (ANA) will launch a new daily service between its Tokyo Narita hub and Kuala Lumpur from September 2015.

The new service has been timed to enable passengers to make convenient connections to and from North America.

The daily service will be operated by the B787-8, which ANA has configured with a two-class configuration, offering 42 seats in business, and 198 in economy.

The Japanese carrier has previously stated its intention to make Narita a hub for international passengers flying between North America and destinations within Asia, and this new service is in line with that strategy. Indeed, ANA has been looking to expand its presence in North America, with a new daily Narita to Houston service starting in June. Meanwhile, the carrier is also increasing the number of existing Narita–Singapore and Narita–Bangkok flights in order to leverage the increased number of connecting passengers bound for the US.
