Easyjet slashes Gatwick to Moscow flights

20 Jan 2015 by GrahamSmith

Easyjet will cut its London Gatwick to Moscow Domodedovo service to seven weekly from late March.

The budget carrier currently operates a 13-times weekly service between the two airports. On February 1, it will reduce this to an 11-times weekly operation and then to a daily service on March 29.

Between those dates, EZ8403 and EZ8404 will only operate on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays before being cancelled, reports airlineroute.net.

From March 29, Easyjet will operate outbound flight EZ8401, which departs Gatwick at 0700 and arrives in Moscow at 1255, and return flight EZ8402, which leaves Moscow at 1335 and lands at Gatwick at 1545.

Last month, Easyjet launched the first direct service between Belfast and Reykjavik (see news, December 17).
