13 Jan 2015 by GrahamSmith

Cathay Pacific has launched new amenity kits for first and business class passengers on long-haul flights.

The airline will provide first class passengers with a case designed by Aesop, while those in business will receive a kit designed by Hong Kong brand Seventy Eight Percent.

The male first class case is grey and contains: Aesop camellia nut facial hydrating cream; Aesop rosehip seed lip cream; a toothbrush, toothpaste and mouthwash; and earplugs, hairbrush, sleeve and monitor-cleaning cloth.

Toby Smith, Cathay Pacific's general manager of product, said: "We are very pleased to be continuing our collaboration with Aesop and Jurlique, and are also looking forward to working with a local brand in Seventy Eight Percent.

"When selecting our brand partners, we look for alignment with our own design principles which guide the way we shape our products to deliver a memorable travel experience for our passengers."

Last week, Cathay Pacific and Flybe have extended their codeshare agreement on flights between Amsterdam and Paris and four UK destinations (see news, January 5).
