Thai to deploy Dreamliner to KL

Thai Airways (Thai) will introduce the Boeing 787-8 to its Bangkok-Kuala Lumpur route from 1 February.

The Star Alliance member currently operates the route 18 times weekly, with the Airbus A330. According to airlineroute.net, Thai will deploy the Dreamliner on the TG417/418 service, and run it seven times weekly.

All other flights will continue to be operated by the A330.

Flight TG417 departs Suvarnabhumi Airport daily at 1640 and arrives in Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 1950. The return flight TG418 will then take off from Kuala Lumpur at 2100 and arrive back in Bangkok at 2205.
