Four Seasons Bangkok will be rebranded as an Anantara hotel on March 1. Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel & Spa will contain 354 guestrooms, seven restaurants and bars, a spa, a gym, an outdoor swimming pool, a ballroom seating up to 550 and "extensive meeting and event rooms". Located in Rajadamri in the centre of Bangkok, the property opened in 1978 as a Peninsula hotel before eventually being rebranded as a Four Seasons in 2003. Minor Hotel Group owns both Four Seasons Bangkok and the Anantara brand. The group and Four Seasons will continue their partnership with the Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai, Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui, and Four Seasons Resort Tented Camp Golden Triangle properties. Dillip Rajakarier, CEO of Minor Hotel Group, said: "Minor Hotel Group is excited to make the announcement of the transition of this prestigious property in central Bangkok to our core luxury Anantara brand. The property will make a superb addition to the brand's portfolio." The property will remain open as Four Seasons Bangkok until March 1. anantara.com Graham Smith
