Emirates is cancelling its second daily A380 service to Rome next month.
From February 1, the Gulf airline will no longer operate a superjumbo on flights EK095/EK096 between Dubai and Rome.
Instead, it would appear it is directly transferring the A380 onto its Manchester route on that date (see news, January 6).
Emirates will replace the aircraft with a B777-300ER on the Rome route, reports airlineroute.net. It started flying the second A380 to Rome in August (see news, August 19).
The carrier flies three daily flights from Dubai to Rome - EK097/EK098 will remain a superjumbo service.
