Four Seasons Bangkok to become an Anantara

23 Dec 2014 by ReggieHo

Minor Hotel Group (MHG), which operates 120 hotels and resorts across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, the Indian Ocean and Africa, has announced it will reflag one of its owned properties, the Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok, to Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel & Spa from March 1, 2015.

The 354-key property located in Rajadamri in central Bangkok’s Siam district was built in 1978 as a Peninsula hotel prior to being sold to Regent Hotels in 1982. The Four Seasons assumed management of the property after its acquisition of Regent Hotels in 1992. The Regent Bangkok was owned by Rajdamri Plc, which came under the full ownership of MHG in 2001. The hotel was rebranded as a Four Seasons in 2003.

Minor Hotel Group and Four Seasons will continue its partnership with Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai, Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui, and Four Seasons Resort Tented Camp Golden Triangle.
