Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide aims to double the number of Four Points by Sheraton branded hotels in China by 2018.
The announcement comes just weeks before the opening of Four Points by Sheraton Lingui Guilin, which increased the brand’s presence in China to 23 hotels.
Due to open on December 31, Four Points by Sheraton Lingui Guilin will offer 242 guestrooms and suites. It is situated in the heart of Longui, Guilin’s new business and administrative district.
An opening package is available, starting at RMB498 (US$80), which includes accommodation in a Comfort Room as well as buffet breakfast. The offer is valid until June 30, 2015.
Four more properties are slated to open in 2015 – in the southern manufacturing hub of Guangdong, Chengdu in the south-west, Baohe in Hefei, and Penghuin Taiwan.
