18 Dec 2014 by GrahamSmith

British Airways has opened its refurbished lounge at Amsterdam Schiphol airport.

Measuring 400 sqm, the facility can accommodate up to 105 guests and has been designed to reflect the style of BA's flagship London Heathrow T5 Galleries lounge.

The Schiphol lounge has runway views and features a deli area for light dining and a bar with complimentary soft drinks, wines and spirits.

Power points are available at most seats and guests can print wirelessly to a printer.

The lounge was designed by interiors group Graven and contains furnishings from Boss and Morgan using Andrew Muirhead leathers and Osborne and Little fabrics, and an Italian herringbone floor.

Schophol is the latest BA lounge to be revamped following refurbishments at Glasgow, Belfast, Edinburgh, Cape Town and Washington airports.
