JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts has expanded its presence in China with the opening of the 454-room JW Marriott Hotel Chongqing.
The company now boasts a total of eight hotels in the country, with other properties located in Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Hangzhou and Zhengzhou.

Featuring an elegant and chic design, the new hotel is situated in the Chongbin Poly International Plaza – one of the tallest skyscrapers in Chongqing, a growing economic hub in China’s western region.
JW Marriott Hotel Chongqing is located in the Yuzhong District and is within walking distance from the city’s main dining, shopping and nightlife facilities.

Each of the 454 guestrooms come with a full array of modern amenities, and features a décor that blends both eastern and western aesthetic concepts. The furniture adopts a red palette – a lucky colour in China.
Guests can choose to dine at any of the five specialty restaurants. These outlets comprise of global fare at Flame; Cantonese and Sichuan favourites at the upscale Man Ho; all-day dining at Qing Kitchen; as well as the executive lounge and lobby lounge.

Recreational facilities include an indoor swimming pool, spa and a fully equipped fitness centre.
Finally, the JW Marriott Hotel Chongqing is also home to more than 2,200sqm of multi-function event space. This includes a 766sqm pillar-less grand ballroom, a 30sqm junior ballroom and 11 other function spaces – including a VIP room, chairman lounges and meeting rooms.
