Millennium & Copthorne Hotels has announced the opening of its first hotel in Japan.
Located in the heart of Tokyo’s Ginza 4-Chrome District – directly opposite the famous Mitsukoshi department store – Millennium Mitsui Garden Hotel will open its doors tomorrow. The new property features a striking “Bottega-inspired” façade like the weave of a basket.
Millennium Mitsui Garden Hotel will provide a Japanese-style space to visitors with two special concept rooms designed by brands Mikimoto Cosmetics Ginza and Hakuza Nihonbashi restaurant.
A single dining outlet is available at the hotel: all-day dining NiKO Ginza restaurant located on the basement level. Complimentary wifi and LAN connections are available in all guestrooms, and the same is true for the video-on-demand system.
“Millennium & Copthorne has grown from one hotel in the 1970s to over 120 hotels in key gateway cities around the world. I was there when we first ventured overseas with hotels in New Zealand and I am proud that 20 years later, we have the feather in our cap with Millennium Mitsui Garden Hotel,” said Wong Hong Ren, chief executive of Millennium & Copthorne Hotels.
