Scoot has once again delayed the inaugural service of its Boeing 787-9 .
According to airlineroute.net, Scoot will delay the B787-9’s service to Hong Kong and Perth until February 1.
This is the second time the airline has postponed the Dreamliner services. As reported by Business Traveller Asia-Pacific last month (see here), GDS system data originally indicated that the fuel-efficient aircraft would be delayed to “at least” January 16.
Scoot has configured its B787-9 with a two-class 375-seat setup. Up front is the premium ScootBiz cabin, which will feature 35 all-leather seats in a 2-3-2 configuration.
There are also 340 economy seats in a 3-3-3 setup. The popular Stretch seats and Scoot in Silence cabin will also be available onboard, enhanced with adjustable headrests. All passengers will enjoy in-seat power sockets as well as the option of streaming internet connectivity.
