Iberia will fly to two new UK destinations next year when it launches services from Madrid to Edinburgh and Manchester.
The Spanish airline will in March start a four-times weekly service to Edinburgh and in September an "initially four per week" service to Manchester.
It will also in March increase flight frequency on its Madrid to London Gatwick route to twice-daily.
Additionally, Iberia will next year launch new services to Budapest, Hamburg, Catania, Florence, Naples, Palermo, Verona and Funchal on the Portuguese island of Madeira.
In August, BA and Iberia launched a new service allowing customers to hold flight reservations for up to three days before paying for them (see news, August 21).
