Etihad Airways has postponed its second and third daily A380 services to London Heathrow.
The Gulf carrier will start flying the superjumbo between Abu Dhabi and LHR on December 27.
A second and third service were scheduled to commence on April 1 and May 1 respectively.
Inaugural service EY011/012 will still go ahead, but the A380 will be replaced by a B777-300ER from January 7 to 15 and by an A340-600 on March 8 and 9.
However, second A380 service EY017/018 will now start a month later on May 1, while third superjumbo service EY019/020 has been delayed by three months until August 1, reports airlineroute.net.
Etihad is still scheduled to operate the A380 to Sydney on June 1 (see news, August 27).
Qatar Airways postponed its inaugural A380 route to London Heathrow multiple times earlier this year (see news, July 7).
