Qatar Airways will increase its Dreamliner service to Edinburgh from five-times weekly to daily in May.
The Gulf carrier began operating its B787 to the Scottish capital earlier this year (see news, May 28). It currently flies on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
From May 1, the aircraft will be rostered daily between Doha and Edinburgh.
Flight QR027 departs Doha at 0745 and arrives in Edinburgh at 1300 local time. Return service QR028 leaves Edinburgh at 1430 and lands in Doha at 2330 local time.
Qatar Airways' B787 is in a two-cabin configuration, with 22 seats in business class and 232 in economy.
Last month, the airline cancelled its planned second daily A380 service to London Heathrow, which had been scheduled to begin on December 1 (see news, October 30).
