Air Canada orders two B777-300ER

Boeing and Air Canada (AC) have announced today that the latter has placed an order for two Boeing 777-300ER airplanes.

The order is valued at US$660 million list price, and when delivered, will boost AC’s B777 fleet to 25, including 17 B777-300ERs and six B777-200LRs.

As the most popular member of the “triple seven” family, the B777-300ER has accumulated over 750 orders from more than 40 customers worldwide to date.

Equipped with the GE90-115BL commercial jet engine, the aircraft is capable of a maximum range of 7,825 nautical miles (14,490km).
