Cebu Pacific to launch direct Cebu – Tokyo flights

28 Oct 2014 by Tamsin Cocks
Cebu Pacific will launch direct flights from Cebu – Tokyo (Narita) starting on March 26, 2015. Four weekly flights will depart on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, leaving Cebu at 0555 and arriving in Tokyo at 1120. The return service will depart Tokyo at 1205 and land back in Cebu at 1625. The new route will be served by an A320 aircraft and will mark the carrier’s third Japanese destination, after Nagoya and Osaka. Cebu Pacific will also be significantly upgrading its Manila – Hong Kong service by replacing one of the four-daily A320 flights with an A330 aircraft – representing an increase from 180 to 436 seats. This follows a recent air pact agreement between The Philippines and Hong Kong to double the current capacity of seats across all carriers from 15,000 to 30,000 per week. The airline also revealed that it plans to offer a direct Hong Kong – Kalibo (Boracay) service in the coming months. Finally, following the launch of its latest long-haul offering to Sydney, Cebu Pacific has announced a sale for a one-stop Hong Kong – Manila – Sydney service, starting tonight. Fares will begin at HK$2,999 (US$387), including taxes and 15kg baggage allowance, for travel between November 1 and March 30. To find out more, visit cebupacificair.com Tamsin Cocks
