From November 23 to March 14, Hong Kong flag carrier Cathay Pacific Airways (CX) is increasing capacity on the Hong Kong – Seoul (Incheon) route with a sixth daily service.
CX430 departs Hong Kong at 1835 to arrive in Incheon at 2305 the same evening. Return CX437 departs the South Korean capital at 0155 early the next morning to return to Hong Kong at 0500.
The frequency increase is in line with the carrier’s latest statements in which it singled Korea out as one of its ‘strongest markets’.
Competition on the route is strong. Korean Air and Asiana Airlines both feature multiple daily departures, and low-cost carriers such as HK Express and Jin Air are plying the route, too.
