New Qantas business lounge at Perth Airport

20 Oct 2014 by Clement Huang

Qantas Airways has started working on the development of the new Domestic Business Lounge at Perth Airport. The move will coincide with the airline’s relocation to a "dedicated Qantas precinct" next year. The Qantas Group will soon have exclusive use of both Terminals 3 and 4 for its domestic and regional services, and the lounge will be easily assessible from both buildings.

Available to Qantas business class passengers, as well as Platinum and Platinum One cardholders, the new facility is expected to deliver an additional 30 per cent capacity to the existing lounges in Perth.

“At 1,365 square metres, the lounge will have capacity for over 350 customers and will be equipped to give them the space, state of the art facilities, quality service and luxuries that Qantas Business lounges are renowned for,” said Qantas domestic head of customer strategy Philip Capps.

When opened, the Domestic Business Lounge will offer a dedicated work zone with a meeting room and conference facilities attached. It will also sport a dedicated dining area with a “dish of the day” special and an all-day barista service.

Standard lounge features will be available too, including wireless internet, a selection of popular reading material, and a full service bar and buffet.
