Marriott International has opened its first Marriott Hotels-branded property in Haikou, adding to its fast-growing portfolio in Hainan Province.
The 386-room business hotel is 45 minutes away from Haikou Meilan International Airport and a 10-minute drive from the railway station. The downtown area is a 15-minute drive away, while the Hainan International Exhibition Centre is within walking distance.
Business travellers will be pleased to know that the executive lounge on the 8th floor has a range of facilities available, from printing and copying to secretarial and translation services. Guests staying on the executive floor can also enjoy complimentary food and drink in the lounge.
Haikou Marriott Hotel is home to over 4,000 sqm of flexible meeting space, including a pillar-less Grand Ballroom that can accommodate up to 800 guests and 11 meeting rooms.
Dining options within the hotel include three restaurants plus four lounges and bars. These include all-day dining at Island Bistro, Cantonese cuisine at Man Ho Restaurant, and seafood at The Big Fish Bar.
For recreational purposes the hotel offers three outdoor pools and The Spa Centre – which features hot spring pools, steam saunas, dry saunas, Jacuzzi tubs, foot massage rooms and wellness treatment rooms.
