China Airlines has entered into a codeshare partnership with Virgin America on several of the US carrier’s domestic services, which will become effective from October 15.
According to airlineroute.net, China Airlines’ Cl code will be featured on 17 domestic Virgin services.
North America is an important market for the Taiwanese carrier and Virgin America has become its third partner based in the US. China Airlines also maintains strong codeshare ties with fellow SkyTeam member Delta Air Lines, as well as Hawaiian Airlines.
The China Airlines–Virgin America codeshare routes will be:
Los Angeles – Chicago O’Hare
Los Angeles – Dalls Love Field
Los Angeles – Ft. Lauderdale
Los Angeles – New York JFK
Los Angeles – Newark
Los Angeles – San Francisco
Los Angeles – Seattle
Los Angeles – Washington Dulles
San Francisco – Boston
San Francisco – Chicago O’Hare
San Francisco – Dallas Love Field
San Francisco – Ft. Lauderdale
San Francisco – Las Vegas
San Francisco – New York JFK
San Francisco – Newark
San Francisco – Seattle
San Francisco – Washington Dulles
Reservations for the codeshare services are expected to commence over the coming days.
