Ryanair has extended its partnership with Lavazza and now offers premium coffee to passengers on all its flights.
The budget airline introduced the Italian coffee onto its services to/from the UK and Italy in the summer (see news, July 22).
It has now started serving Lavazza, through a new filter cup design, on every route.
The new cup centres on a filter lid, designed by Retail in Motion, that works by filtering the ground coffee as it is being drunk.
Robin Kiely, Ryanair's head of communication, said: "Following positive feedback from our customers, Ryanair is pleased to extend our partnership with Lavazza and we are now offering authentic Italian coffee on all Ryanair flights.
"Ryanair is the first airline in the world to use this innovative new lid, which filters ground Lavazza coffee, ensuring our customers can enjoy real Italian coffee on Europe’s favourite airline.”
