Star Alliance members Air Canada and Air India have announced a series of new codeshare routes.
From October 2, Air Canada will place its AC code on Air India services from Delhi to London Heathrow, Milan, Paris CDG, Hong Kong, Tokyo Narita and Shanghai, and from Mumbai to London Heathrow.
It will also place its code on Air India domestic flights from Delhi and Mumbai to Amritsar, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Chennai.
Air India will place its AI code on Air Canada flights from London Heathrow to Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, Halifax, and St John's.
It will also put its code on Air Canada services from Toronto to Milan and Paris CDG; Montreal to Paris; and Vancouver to Hong Kong, Tokyo Narita and Shanghai.
Air India officially became the 27th member of Star Alliance in the summer (see news, July 11).
