ANZ postpones B787-9 service to Tokyo and Shanghai

17 Sep 2014 by GrahamSmith

Air New Zealand has postponed B787-9 Dreamliner serivce to Tokyo Narita and Shanghai Pudong.

The carrier was originally due to fly its stretched Dreamliner to Narita on November 10 and Pudong on December 2.

However, its revised operation schedule now indicates the B787-9 will begin serving Narita from December 2 and Pudong from December 14.

No reasons have been given for the delay. ANZ's Auckland to Perth and Auckland to Sydney (see news, August 1) services have already commenced and will continue to run according to original schedule.

ANZ last week retired its Boeing 747 fleet (see news, September 12).
