Jumeirah Frankfurt presents “Velotaxi” experience

If you like to travel in style - this might not be for you. But if you're interested in green travel, then the "Velotaxi", now available at Jumeirah Frankfurt, might be just the ticket. The quirky, human-powered taxi allows guests to explore the city in a novel way, while being environmentally friendly at the same time. Guests can pick up the sheltered bicycle-taxis at the hotel entrance and enjoy the city-tour service. Knowledgeable drivers will cart passengers to secret spots, favourite places and major sightseeing destinations, such as the city hall Römer, the old Opera House and the river embankment. The "Velotaxi" city tour cost starts at €22 (US$29) for 40 minutes. Hotel guests can book the service in advance and select a driver who speaks German, English, French or Spanish. Individual transfer for private journeys is also available, with the rate starting at €4 (US$5) per kilometre. Guest can take it for short trips within the city, to the main train station or to the banking district.
