Marriott is set open its second property in the Belarus capital of Minsk.
The 220-room Marriott Minsk Hotel is scheduled to open early next year, and will form part of a new sports and entertainment development around 4km outside the city centre.
Hotel facilities will include two restaurants, a cigar bar, nightclub, 13 meeting rooms and a 600-capacity ballroom.
The complex will also feature a swimming pool, squash courts, tennis courts, massage rooms, a fitness centre, bowling alley and cinema.
The property will join the newly-opened Renaissance Minsk Hotel, one of nine Renaissance properties due to open worldwide this year (see news June 9).
