Pan Pacific to debut in London

Luxury hotel brand Pan Pacific is set to make its debut in London, following the purchase of a development site by parent company UOL.

The group has confirmed the purchase of the Heron Plaza site on Bishopsgate in the City of London for £97 million, and will press ahead with plans to develop a five-star hotel, residential apartments and retail space.

The site already has planning permission for a 43-storey tower, with previous owners Heron International having announced development plans incorporating a Four Seasons hotel back in 2011 (see news January 2011).

UOL owns, manages and markets over 30 hotels across Asia, Oceania and North America under its Pan Pacific brand, which is a member of the Global Hotel Alliance (GHA).,
