British Airways has added its flight code to a further nine Vueling services.

The codeshare operation between the two IAG airlines now stands at more than 180 routes. It is mainly centered on the Spanish carrier's low-cost Italy operation.

The new routes are Alicante to Copenhagen; Barcelona to Copenhagen; Barcelona to Helsinki; Barcelona to Oslo; Barcelona to Stockholm; Florence to London Gatwick; Malaga to Copenhagen; Rome to Genoa; and Rome to Turin.

In June, BA added its flight code to more than 170 Vueling routes, including 37 international and 11 domestic sercices from Vueling's Rome Fiumicino base (see news, June 18).

Earlier this month, IAG announced it had moved into profit after its Spanish airline Iberia made money after years of losses (see news, August 1).
