Hilton Hotels & Resorts has opened its first Hilton-branded property in the Shandong Province of China.
Hilton Qingdao Golden Beach is home to 431 guestrooms with standard features such as walk-in showers, bathtubs and either garden or ocean views. This includes 29 suites ranging in size from 42 to 150sqm – all with private balconies.
The resort itself is situated along the shores of Golden Beach in the Huangdao district of Qingdao. Huangdao is the economic and technological development zone of Qingdao; a 20-minute drive from the main business district and a 45-minute drive from Liuting International Airport.
Five food and beverage outlets offer a mix of Western, Asian and Chinese cuisine, with all-day dining at Strands; Shandong and Cantonese favourites at Jiao Ao Restaurant; mixed cuisine at Pure; “Grab and Go” light bites at Deli Café; and afternoon tea in the Lobby Bar.
The resort features 23 flexible function spaces, including the 2,100sqm pillar-less Grand Ballroom with an 800sqm pre-function area. Complimentary wifi is provided throughout all guestrooms and public areas.
And what resort would be complete without a wide array of recreational options? Facilities include indoor and outdoor pools that suit different seasons during the year, a fitness centre, spa, tennis courts, and 18-hole golf course.
