British Airways has cancelled 12 round-trip flights between London Heathrow and Tokyo Narita from its January 2015 schedule.
The airline will not operate services BA005 to Narita and BA006 to LHR on January 7, 8, 12, 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, 22, 25, 26 and 28.
A BA spokesman told Business Traveller: "We have reduced our schedules from Heathrow to Tokyo on some days in January 2015. Rather than flying to both Haneda and Narita every day of the week, for a number of days in January we will only fly to Haneda.
"We constantly review and refine our schedules to ensure that we use our fleet of aircraft as effectively as possible."
BA has also cancelled three round-trip flights from Heathrow to Tokyo Haneda on January 20, 21 and 27.
At the end of last week, the airline started rolling-out its new short-haul seating across 95 aircraft in its A320 fleet (see news, July 11). To read an exclusive review of a flight on the first reconfigured aircraft, click here.
