Japan offers multiple-entry visa to Indian nationals

The Japanese government has just made available to eligible Indian nationals the option to apply for a multiple-entry visa, with each stay in Japan limited to 15 days and validity set at three years. The visa is for business and tourism purposes.

To quality for this new visa, applicants need to hold machine-readable passports or e-passports in compliance with the standards set forth by the International Civil Aviation Organisation. They need to have travelled to Japan in the last three years, with no records of violations of the laws and regulations of the country from their visits. Finally, they are required to submit their tax returns and bank statements to prove that they have the ability to pay for their travel expenses, along with a certificate of employment and a letter detailing why they to apply for the visa.

Eligible individuals interested in the multiple-entry visa can visit the nearest embassy or consulate-general of Japan to apply for it.
