Boeing and Turkish Airlines have finalised an order for 15 B737 MAX 8s.
This announced purchase, valued at US$1.6 billion at list prices, came a month after the Turkish flag carrier placed the largest Boeing order in the airline’s history for 50 737 MAXs (a mix of 8s and 9s) and 20 Next-Generation 737s.
In total, Turkish Airlines has more than 100 unfilled orders for Boeing aircraft: 65 737 MAX, more than 25 Next-Generation 737s and 20 777-300ERs.
