Qatar Airways has introduced a new online system that allows passengers to print their own baggage tags before arriving at the airport.
This follows our April report that German flag carrier Lufthansa has also introduced a similar system (see here).
Branded as “My Q-Tag”, the service allows customers proceed directly to the web check-in bag drop counter at the airport, where a customer service representative will process their already labelled baggage.
My Q-Tag is currently only available to passengers departing from Qatar Airways’ new base at Hamad International Airport, but it encompasses a total of 103 destinations.
