Thai Airways has offered passengers a sneak peek of the business class seat offering on its upcoming B787-8 Dreamliner.
The new seat design was showcased in a photo on the airline's Instagram account.
At first glance, the look of the seat seems to share some distinct similarities with United Airlines' B787 (and select B777) shell design business seats.

Both also share a 2-2-2 abreast configuration. But, as expected, Thai's seats are velvet purple as opposed to the blue-ish seats by United.
Thai's Dreamliner will offer 264 seats in a two-class configuration, with 24 in Royal Silk (business), and 240 in economy.
The business class product comes with a 60-inch pitch and 21-inch width, and is able to recline into a fully-flat bed. There is also a 16-inch personal screen.

No word yet on Thai's B787 economy product, but the airline has stated that it will be arranged in a 3-3-3 configuration, and offer a 32-inch pitch and 18-inch width.
In true Thai style, the seats will be gold and purple in colour.
