KLM passengers could soon be able to rate their cabin service on a new smartphone app currently being trialled by the airline.
The app, which has a working title of "Like the Crew", allows passengers to provide the Dutch carrier with feedback about the inflight service as a whole, and not for individual crew members.
Over the last two months, KLM has tested the app on flights on its Toronto route.
Using a five-point scale, passengers were asked to answer the question "How was your flight?".
The airline said in a statement: "The results are now being reviewed and in close collaboration with the Works Council System, KLM will look carefully how the app can best be implemented."
Earlier this year, KLM introduced flight payments on Facebook and Twitter (see news, February 13).
